  1. I really enjoy the album art, it reminds me of the metal from the early to mid 90's. I heard that Rage Against the Machine was reuniting and releasing another album. Is that true?

  2. Hey Michael
Yeah I have always enjoyed album art, which is why I prefer to purchase the physical copy of an album rather than download it. The exception would be if there is a band that is very obscure and therefore makes it more difficult to get the physical copy. As for Rage Against the Machine I did hear about them reuniting around 3 or 4 years ago, and they did perform at a festival (I believe it was Lolapalooza) but I would have to do some research as to whether or not they are releasing new material.

  3. I love the fact that you incorporated quite a bit of album art. It definitely gives the viewer the ability to see what you are talking about, instead of just reading about it. I used to really like August Burns Red so I definitely have to check out that new song of theirs. I was definitely into heavy music for a long time, and still am, but the newer stuff coming out is getting boring because it is so repetitive. These heavier bands can’t seem to break from their usual style and try something different. It’s kind of a catch 22, if they stay the same, they get boring, but if they try to switch it up people will call them sellouts (I’ve seen it happen myself). What do you think Jeremiah? Are these songs really worth checking out, or do they all sound exactly the same with just different song titles?

  4. Greetings Lindsay!
Thanks for posting on my blog. August Burns Red has been getting more and more popular these days, but I was a fan of theirs back when Thrill Seeker was released because they reminded me somewhat of Living Sacrifice where every song seems to be put together perfectly. Their new album is Leveler and seems to be more of an experimental album in my honest opinion, which makes sense since the band always reminds people that they aren't your typical metal group. I would recommend at least sampling the Leveler album because it isn't like any other metal release in recent memory. Here is a clue: salsa beats. Yeah it's that different. If you would like to know more about the bands I have listed, please feel free to message me back. Metal Shall Prevail
